Queen’s College prides itself on providing an individual education with family values.
From babies in Highgrove Nursery up to A Level students in Sixth Form, the spirit and heart of this very special community ensures the inclusion of every pupil across all abilities.
Queen’s strives to be a centre of excellence for thinking and creativity where mutual respect and positive attitudes allow children to take informed risks, make mistakes and learn how to learn in a supportive and empowered way.
From an academic perspective, more than 80% of A Level students gained A*-C grades this summer and the vast majority have taken up their first-choice place at university, including a raft of Oxbridge and medical placements.
Excellent teaching facilities are reflected in outstanding year-on-year exam achievements while Queen’s is also renowned for its creative and performing arts – it even has its own professional Orchestra-in-Residence.
A wide variety of co-curricular activities take place and, on the sports field, more than a dozen students have represented their country on the international stage in recent years.
Queen’s is also a centre of excellence for outdoor pursuits – with opportunities to horse ride, kayak and climb – and has one of the region’s largest cohorts for the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
